There are some major rule differences between what we play with in TPG and what you guys may be used to.
First, all servers used for matches must be running the configs found here: http://files.tpgleague.org/dod6v6/confi ... onfigs.zip
Our config allows only 2 KARs + stoss(1 sniper, 2 heavies) for axis, and on allies its 2 BARs(sniper, 3 garands.)
Second, everyone must record demos and take screenshots before the match. I'm pretty sure you guys don't normally take screenshots. Everyone goes to the double cap area, and there is a cease fire.
A valid screenshot must include all of the following elements:
Scoreboard must be showing.
Primary weapon must be out (snipers must take two, 1 scoped and 1 unscoped).
Mini-map must be enabled using the console command cl_minimap 2 .
Netgraph must be turned on using the console command net_graph 3 .
At least one friendly and one opposing player model must be in view.
This is done for both halves.
Third, rates:
Players rates must be between the following values during match play:
rate - 20000 to maximum value
cl_cmdrate - 60 to maximum value
cl_updaterate - 60 to maximum value
ex_interp - 0.00 to 0.03
developer 0
Fourth, teams may continue to sign up throughout the season. Just because preseason is starting, does not mean that signups are closed. However, after week 4 you will be ineligible for playoffs. Rosters lock 24 hours before all regular season and post season matches. Eventually rosters will lock for good after week 5 or 6.
Fifth, Please use http://www.tpgleague.org/euro6v6/ for your TPG needs. This was thrown together pretty quickly, and there was a problem with Europeans who have played in our leagues for a long time. The website would not accept their steamID two times, so we had to move you to a separate part of the website.
Sixth, SPAWN NADING AND CAMPING IS LEGAL.
I.e. you can shoot/nade down the anzio beach.
Seventh, default time is 9PM CE(S)T
anything else? speak now, forever hold your peace, and read the complete list of rules at

Re: TPG 1.3 rules (euros read)
is the ex interp minimum 0.01 or 0?
tpg site says it's 0.01. But I'd rather use the minimum value.
Killing players while missing just confuses me.

ex_interp 0 will set your interp to 1/updaterate . the max for updaterate is 100 anyway, so it can't go lower than 0.01
Re: TPG 1.3 rules (euros read)
ok thx.
For some reason I always thought 0 set it to some minimum and depended on the server.
I was fooled because my console always said something about so many miliseconds (turned out to be 9) and this is smaller than 0.01.
Must have been because my rates were on 101 instead of 100. Obviously some round off error because 1/101 should still be 10 miliseconds.
is 100 the max rate? I remember that in the past everybody used 101? I am always years behind.

oops, actually I was wrong and the engine max is 102, if you try to go higher it helpfully resets your updaterate to 20 tpg config has sv_maxupdaterate 101 though.
tbh the whole hitbox/netcode is bit borked cos it's such an old game, you get crazy reg sometimes. I'm not even sure setting interp to 0 totally fixes it: if you watch a demo where you had bad reg, and play around with interp while watching, the models can move so much, like +- an inch on screen. most of the time I feel like wherever the models are on my screen, that is not where the server thinks they are
p.s seems like it has a precision of 6dp, so it can handle 1/101 as 0.009000 actually
