Five And A Half Men - 5.5men


John : How do you think it went for your team so far this season?

JaGGoN : Well I think the record speaks for it all. sitting undefeated thus far with only a few matches remaining, I've been very pleased with our team's effort this season. We didn't really have any fall off after finishing undefeated last season and winning it all so, both Jared and I have been very pleased with our team's efforts without a doubt.


John : What's your starting lineup?

JaGGoN : RIFLES- JaGGoN, toxinator, jules/Pat/hudson
HEAVIES- taylor, jules/pat/me
SNIPER- hudson/pat/me
(obviously, with the banning of ryan, we have a few issues to work out and are likely going to make decisions on classes by map and some other factors each week)


John : How is your teamwork?

JaGGoN : Our team work is always our biggest asset, all the guys we have are very familiar with one another and we've all played the game for so long, a couple of us with eachother, that we just have a sixth sense for what each of our team mates/class and route counter parts will be doing so our biggest advantage at all times is our team work. Other teams in the league are gaining some seniority by sticking together like dgf and angryface and that'll eventually make matches with those teams more and more difficult but still we've all got a lot of time with each other and continue to grow even more team work wise so, I'd give it a 9/10


John : What was your most difficult match of this season?

JaGGoN : Our match vs angryface on saints was pretty tough. I was drunk and on a map like saints there's always the chance of something unexpected happening which it did, hence the closest score of the last season. I don't remember A LOT of the match but I know they put up a huge fight and even capped out toward the end then ALMOST capped again to beat us so, when we run into them again hopefully we're a little more prepared.


John : Which team has surprised you the most?

JaGGoN : I don't think anyone has been particularly surprising. MEGA has a lot of potential to be a tough team to play so I guess the fact that they're only .500 right now is surprising to me. Other than that the season has gone pretty much exactly as I expected.


John : How do you see your chances in the playoffs?

JaGGoN : I think as reigning champions and currently being undefeated still, we have superb chances to make a hard push for back to back title rings.


John : Who do you keep as favorites to win it all?

JaGGoN : Probably would have to be us based on all the things I've mentioned previously. We won last season, we haven't lost yet this season and the whole team is a bunch of guys that love playing with one another and bring it all every week. With guys like taylor jules and tox on a team you're always going to be the favorite as those 3 players are in the top 5 NA talents left in the game in my book, so until someone can knock us off our pedestal, we will remain the favorite to take the cake. I know this answer may rub people the wrong way and come off as being **** but it really is just stating the facts and I'm sure when these interviews are released you'll see most teams echoing the same notion.



John : Any comments, or shout-outs?

JaGGoN : Well as a team, we want to apologize to everyone for the whole thing with ryan. obviously our stance is simply to move on and not look back, we lost a huge part of our team this week, someone who's been with us for 6 years and was one of our top fraggers always for most of that time though he had dropped off a bit this passed season along with myself, and its tough but we're going to keep moving forward. thank you to john for being an excellent interviewer and team leader who allows me to ring for him in tpg euro a lot <3 shoutouts to everyone still playing this game and keeping it alive which gives me something to stay occupied while I'm unable to do a whole lot more right now so, thank you everyone and keep on playing and having fun! P.S. hudson have shaky aim.

everyone look out for a few movies coming out in the near future, cass's movie is VERY CLOSE.
seveN's movie is about 3 clips away from being done (LET'S DO IT JOEY GET ME THEM DEMOS!)
airnick's will then be able to finally start as I'll have ample hard drive space to do so.
and in between the process of all these movies, I've been slowly gathering stuff for the 5.5men movie showcasing this season and last season, so maybe after the season is done, maybe a little before, maybe tonight?! but sometime in the foreseeable future everyone will have a nice little 5.5men movie to enjoy hopefully.

John : How do you think it went for your team so far this season?

mike : It went pretty well. We amassed a decent record so far in invite although the loss to dgf kind of dwindled our morale (especially will's).


John : What's your starting lineup?

mike : vertex and ck on rifle, i third, will and hobbler heavy, and austin snipes.


John : How is your teamwork?

mike : I think we have pretty decent chemistry overall. Sometimes we play like morons and will says, "stop playing like **** idiots" in vent so that kind of puts us back into the game sometimes. Our calls have definitely improved over the course of the season and having ck only talk when we tell him to kinda works.


John : What was your most difficult match of this season?

mike : I thought our most difficult match was against dgf on solitude for reason that we changed everything up last minute so i went underpass with stoss. we didn't really hold doublecap at all so it was a giant wakeup call for us to not be so ****. we also didn't have vertex that match which kind of contributed to the dgf loss.


John : Which team has surprised you the most?

mike : Renamed surprised me because they lost to us in week 1, died, and then came back to field a strong invite team. It looks like they are doing even better than they did against us so i look foward to a rematch.


John : How do you see your chances in the playoffs?

mike : I see us as a top 3 team in playoffs. We just have to continue to play as we have been and try to be as consistent as possible. Although we lost zook due to not wanting to play dod, we did gain hobbler who has been proving himself so far in matches. As long as our roster stays the way it is now, we can do really well in playoffs.


John : Who do you keep as favorites to win it all?

mike : I think 5.5 will win this season even without ryanemo. Tox and Taylor are very strong players who will continue to dominate as they have been all season.


John : Any comments, or shout-outs?

mike : Shoutout to my team for carrying me so far this season and to the tpg admins who continue to do what they have to despite criticism! Good luck to all teams in playoffs

John : How do you think it went for your team so far this season?

jaz : It went better then the last few seasons. So that’s a plus! 


John : What's your starting lineup?

jaz : bullgooselooney, jaz, John.dkc, Cheech, kCaB rUoY HcTaW, Sojin!! and Mr. Self Destruct.


John : How is your teamwork?

jaz : We have pretty good teamwork. Most of us have been in dgf for a few years together.


John : What was your most difficult match of this season?

jaz : I guess 5.5 on Anzio. It’s our worse map. It always has been. We just can’t get anything going on it. EVER!


John : Which team has surprised you the most?

jaz : None really.


John : How do you see your chances in the playoffs?

jaz : Depends on map.. who we play and so on..


John : Who do you keep as favorites to win it all?

jaz : Well that’s kind of obvious, the amazing roster stackers. Same team as every season just a name change and more pick ups of people they “dislike”.


John : Any comments, or shout-outs?

jaz : Def a big shout out to Hello Kitty!

John : How do you think it went for your team so far this season?

ao : Overall this season has been quite a shock, during our weekly post game performance discussions we have been pretty surprised that all of our efforts and preparation haven't really shown come match time. Kevin keeps us on a pretty tight practice schedule and again, we cannot seem to figure out why we are lacking in cohesion. I would say our biggest loss actually occurred during Joel Edmunds ban earlier this season for forgetting to take a screenshot. There was a lot of pointing fingers as to who was to blame, we couldn't even figure out what our starting lineup would be after that point, there was discussion of a possible clan breakup. In the end the only loss that we incurred was that of Matt Rogers, he just said he couldn't take Joel's greasy finger antics. It was a hard loss, but we have had some big players step up and take the reigns. I really feel that Jackson is proving himself to be a rising young star in Day of Defeat.


John : What's your starting lineup?

ao : Our starting lineup is based more on availability. Usually we have Joel, Kevin, Miller, Hildebrand, and a rotation between Element, myself, Yaso, Insane, and Jackson. Our bench is deep John.


John : How is your teamwork?

ao : Thanks for asking John, our teamwork is the best it has ever been. With the addition of James 'Yaso' Kerr filling the void as indubitably the best third in the game, possibly ever, we are as strong as we have ever been.


John : What was your most difficult match of this season?

ao : Most of our matches have been pretty easy in all honesty. The scoreboard may show otherwise, but again during our post game discussions, we haven't gone up against an opponent that we weren't confident in pulling out the win. I am not sure what happened in the five and a half men match recently on Merdilla, we were controlling the boards for nearly thirty five minutes and then our teamwork just went downhill. I think they capped out something like ten times in the last five minutes. But seriously, I think we ALL know why that match got turned around...


John : Which team has surprised you the most?

ao : DGF has definitely stepped up their game, they have maintained a pretty core lineup since the inception of TPG and I always felt they would really turn it around somewhere close between season(s) 25-30.


John : How do you see your chances in the playoffs?

ao : This is going to be TBA's season, I just have that feeling. Stealth is finally getting himself comfortable with the sniper rifle and logging some solid practice hours. I can guarantee with playoffs just around the corner, our focus and determination will be at peak levels.


John : Who do you keep as favorites to win it all?

ao : I think we are all realists on our team, but more importantly we are optimists. I can see TBA going all the way this season.


John : Any comments, or shout-outs?

ao : John my only shoutout goes to you. I don't think I have ever heard you speak a word in vent, but you are the most active guy in the community outside of making calls. So, thanks.

John : How do you think it went for your team so far this season?

k4b00m : We had a rough start. We played the first 2 weeks then died because of some team drama. I put the team back together for week 5, and now we've won 2 in a row, so it's going okay now.


John : What's your starting lineup?

k4b00m : Super and I heavy, Onax snipes, KumKum and NoName rifle, and we don't have an active 6th, Kev and Ezo have filled in when needed.


John : How is your teamwork?

k4b00m : It's okay, the language barrier can sometimes be a problem but overall we can all understand eachother and the more we play together the smoother it will go.


John : What was your most difficult match of this season?

k4b00m : htk on harrington was a pretty close match, we were losing with 3 minutes left in the match then we capped to lead by about 20 points, and held them off right to the end.
I'd say angryface on rr2 but my team played with 5 since my computer blew up mid match so they just got crushed playing with 5.


John : Which team has surprised you the most?

k4b00m : Maybe angryface, after losing half their team from last season they picked up Austin and badnewspanda and continue to dump on people. With hobbler coming back recently I'm sure they'll go far in playoffs.


John : How do you see your chances in the playoffs?

k4b00m : Who knows, if we manage to avoid 5.5 until the finals then we may have a chance of actually getting there.


John : Who do you keep as favorites to win it all?

k4b00m : Picking 5.5 to win is boring so I'll go with angryface vs 5.5 in the finals and angryface capping out with 14 seconds left for the win. You heard it here first.


John : Any comments, or shout-outs?

John : How do you think it went for your team so far this season?

linus : I dont know, haven't checked the TPG site. But i would say that we have been doing good, since we have cableguy to carry us. (I have no idea what our standings are, but if it's bad it's all on Chuck)


John : What's your starting lineup?

linus : I don't know what roster we have, i just learned from your message im on Mega. But i do recall
Chuck telling me to join, and I'm pretty sure milo and frank is on there too. Oh and cablefat, can't forget that retard. So i would say motive, milo, frank, cableguy, HLTV, and the other teams worst player.


John : How is your teamwork? It's awesome!

linus : Like 2 dogs chasing a cat, except cableguy, he's the cat. Even though his name is cableguy, i always have tought on him as cablefat, oh did i go offtopic here? Whatever, motive is hiding somewere crouch sniping claiming he got cat reflexes, cableguy is cheating, frank is living a farmers paradise and i saw a pic of him on a catwalk! Milo will be proning and eating curry, like all Indians do. **** raghead.


John : What was your most difficult match of this season?

linus : Problably the one against THUNDER.


John : Which team has surprised you the most?

linus : Mega, motive running a team? Like a black guy running a country.


John : How do you see your chances in the playoffs?

linus : We got a super super super super secret plan.....

John : Who do you keep as favorites to win it all?

linus : Whatever team ryanemo/dustin/ceebz/caliban is on.

John : How do you think it went for your team so far this season?

senCe : Well, actually for us has been an absolute disappointment. However, I must admit that we have been unlucky. The first game of the season was played without me, and unfortunately, we had no alternate sniper and nobody to get of trust. In another match, we were absent 3 or 4 players, and once again we had no substitutes. On the other hand, we had a very interesting game against Renamed, we lost ourselves for lack of concentration because we were winning with some advantage and within two minutes they did 2 fullcaps. And now, we play against 5.5 so ... We will finish this season with a sad 1-6. Awful.



John : What's your starting lineup?

senCe : In my opinion, our best line up is:
Rifle: SaCaMueLaXx
Rifle: pipe
3rd: berty!
Heavy: Sholta
Heavy: Spawnzz
Sniper: Me (senCe).

We don’t have a bad line up, we have a good team play and we demonstrated last season in Main, but this year, was more difficult and we had more difficulties in ourselves, travels, and so on. But, not excuse, we lost our match because we were worse than our rivals.


John : How is your teamwork?

senCe : In my opinion, we have a good teamwork, BUT this season doesn’t have been fine, we had many errors. Spawnzz was offline several weeks and we miss him. Meganfox did a good job with us, but he never played with us before and we miss our chemist ^^


John : What was your most difficult match of this season?

senCe : At the moment, our most difficult match was Angryfaces, maybe because we have not played versus 5.5 yet. Vertex is an awesome rifle and Mike is a great teamplayer <3. Hobbler did a great job in the heavy’s side, he destroyed us.


John : Which team has surprised you the most?

senCe : Tiltmode, I knew they were good players, but they beat us easily. I would like to play them more often, was very fun and intensive.


John : How do you see your chances in the playoffs?

senCe : This year I don’t feel well in relation with the playoffs, we hadn’t a good season and we can’t do a great playoffs. But we will play for win every match, no doubt.


John : Who do you keep as favorites to win it all?

senCe : Will be fun to see how 5.5 fight against Angryfaces in the finals without Ryanemo, the big disappointment. Amazing match wait us.
