tpg eu teams mayby playing tpg.usa

Post by adamtk »

Hi all, as you all may have noticed Europe dod is almost depleted. Is there no way we could get few eu teams in to usa. The obvious issue is the times 2am is to late for most eu players could we not work something out, like play 12 pm gmt. But if you do this will people sign up is also another issue just wanted to get everyone's thoughts on this eu and usa.
I just want to play dod :)

Well, sign up, but the league default time is what it is, so it's really up to the team you play in any particular week whether playing earlier is a practical option or not.

Yeah I personally stay up till that time on a Sunday just don't know many usa players lol, I just thought changing time may encourage more teams to join on the other hand may not be suitable for usa teams. Just a thought :)

It's going to be difficult to rationalize moving up the default time for players on the west coast any earlier than it currently is. Maybe some luck with scheduling may help on a week by week basis?

I don't advise letting European teams sign up to play American tpg. I am always for growing the game but if EU teams sign up hoping to reschedule to an earlier time than default, I can only see multiple forfeits being an issue... followed by mass complaining from our end. I personally thought letting US players play at default time for EU matches drew a decent interest from players in the states for tpg.eu.

i tried explaining this to them their first season in tpg but they didnt want us. they restricted us when we wanted in and now they are dying away. my suggestion would be to help tpg eu get off the ground again and invite north americans to play. the east coast contains a high percentage of our community so ud probably interest about six teams if i had to guess. at the very least ud have one full division of play.
