Why don't you just post that information here? Instead of linking to those other really shitty forums?

Another option:

Dan suggested doing 1 division and scheduling matches like a ladder and then break up into groups for playoffs. He will post more about it here later today.

Sounds like the old OGL league, not sure if IGL did that too, but ogl def did for quake2 and so on, and dod.

but ogl was a open challenge ladder league kyle, what i am referring to would be more of a ranked ladder where you move up or down each week based on win/loss

so with say only 8 teams as an example each week would work out kind of like this:

week 1:

team 1 vs team 2 - winner stays 1 loser becomes 3 - team 2 wins
team 3 vs team 4- winner becomes 2 loser becomes 5 - team 3 wins
team 5 vs team 6 - winner becomes 4 loser becomes 7 - team 6 wins
team 7 vs team 8 - winner becomes 6 loser becomes 8 - team 7 wins

which would result in a week 2:

team 2 vs team 3
team 1 vs team 6
team 4 vs team 7
team 5 vs team 8

continue this on for so long and can be broken out into playoffs or however you wanna go about it from there

ah, the dod ladder must of been diff. i do know that there was an aq2 ladder, and a loki's ctf ladder that wasn't open. that could be a good idea, it's def a start, and would probably help the league from looking dead as hell with so little teams per dic. I think perception hurts us the most, looks dead people think it's dead.

overall a changeup might be something we could use, maybe stimulate the game a bit.

obviously, im being overly optomistic. i think the vegas lan is the only thing that might change anything, and even then who knows, and it will probably die again right after the lan.

I know the website can't handle an RPI system, so i've suggested this in the past in regards to one division. Start the season off with 3 pre-determined match ups for everyone, ex: No rage men, monster, hb, and legends all play each other on the higher end, and on the lower end of the division p2o vs all the bad south american teams. Then once the first 3 weeks are over, do it like you normally do it where you just start at the top and find the team next in line to play that hasn't been played yet.

Although it looks like there are 21-22 teams, so that might be a little too much for 1 division. Two divisions ftw.
