we have something like 75 people officially signed up; we'll make as many teams as we have people for. if you don't get picked because we have an odd number, we will put you on a team as a 7th and you can rotate in or be on stand-by in case anyone rage quits or has to go early.
we will be streaming live from https://www.twitch.tv/1911dod with TimKim shout-casting, Scorch- , Knockout, and other special guests will accompany him. they will be shout-casting the matches and being awesome.
Tournament will start at SATURDAY JUNE 29th 10AM pacific coast time, North American California time. (best time.) but for you Euro's it will be sometime around dinner time for you. please be around about half and hour early before starting. we want to start the draft at 10 which means everyone needs to be on and ready to go. if you are not here by the end of the draft; you'll be put in the backups list.
we'll start with pool play and get 3-4 matches in, then single direct elimination till its finished. if its going late we may cut some teams for the direct elimination, but it all depends on how many teams we have and how fast we get through matches.
remember that this tournament is for fun, no one is expected to be CPL ready, there is no money on the line and no one will REALLY care who wins, just have fun and play your best!
hypnotik will be putting together a rad DOD frag movie with all our clips and shout-casting and twitch play, so if you are a streamer please stream, otherwise record your demo's and submit footage, we'll have a cool video at the end!
please be patient with me and the people who are helping to run this; I just put it together for fun and its blown up quite a bit, which is awesome, but know going into it that there will be weird delays and hiccups but that we will try our best to make it smooth.
