I don't know if anybody is still checking this board. Probably not. Everyone moved on to "real life" I guess. Jobs. Wives. Kids. Taxes. Pathetic.
But I am STILL HERE.
DAY OF DEFEAT 3.1B — DOG GREEN — 2004.
My name was knockout. Some of you knew me as The Mortar King of 24/7 Avalanche. I played every night from 9 PM until the birds started chirping.
I am looking for coL.chaos, [101st] Grandpa, and especially "xXx_BALLSDEEP_xXx."
BALLSDEEP, IF YOU ARE READING THIS, YOU STILL OWE ME A 1V1 ON KALT.
I remember everything.
I remember taking the bridge on Avalanche SEVENTEEN TIMES IN ONE ROUND with nothing but a K98 and a dream.
I remember the 63-kill round on Flash where I personally killed the entire Allied team except for some kid named Sk8rBoI who hid in spawn for twelve minutes.
I remember getting banned from three servers because the admins accused me of "wallhacking." I WASN'T WALLHACKING. I HAD HEADPHONES.
They didn't understand.
I could hear footsteps through the FLOOR.
There was also the incident on Donner where I got 11 grenade kills with one grenade. The server log said 7, but the server was corrupted. I know what I saw.
My mouse sensitivity was 14.7 and my monitor was a 17-inch CRT running at 800x600. Try doing that today, GEN Z.
I still have the same Logitech mouse.
I still have the same clan tag.
I still have the original TeamSpeak installation.
I still have the screenshot of our CAL match against [WTF]DeathSquad where I went 91-4.
My wife threw away the CRT in 2018.
I have not spoken to her since.
Anyway, if anybody remembers the old days, POST YOUR NAME BELOW.
I don't care if you're 45 now.
I don't care if you have a mortgage.
I don't care if your knees hurt.
