My apologies for falling victim to the nefarious facebook/reddit troll. That is all a cool story, but it still has nothing to do with his knee pain...

1: Go to doctor.
2: Either he recommends rest or something(A), or (B) he recommends a surgery. (If B go to step #3, if A go to step #5)
3: Become a citizen of your northern neighbor. (Canada)
4: Have a surgery in said northern neighbor.
5: Success!

Note: step #3 may be difficult to do if you are not qualified to get citizenship. If so, then cut of your leg and steal jaggons leg.
I have good insurance, so why would I go to Canada where their citizens come to the U.S. to get healthcare? I wouldn't want to wait nearly a year to get it fixed! Hopefully its just some rehab, because surgery is really inconvenient right now.

well I did put my two cents in... I have sciatica and depending where on the nerve in the vertibrae the pressure is, it can hurt from the lower back, through the hip and down into the thigh, knee all the way down to the lower calf. get a physio consult and get your xrays. they will tell you whats up.

about the leg thing, i have FB and 1911 open at the same time and figure it was funny.

and yes stealth, you got me, im a total douche. your right. gratz. whats that got to do with this post :?:

Lots of people posted in this thread. None of them were stealth.

Everyone has a different tolerance for pain. One person's 8 could be a 2 for someone else.

You said you have awesome insurance, if you do then just get a doctor to authorize a MRI and see what's going on inside.
Don't start experimenting with pills for different things until you find a solution. You might start **** your liver or whatever.

You must be stressed about being a father soon. I know this because you are asking 1911 help for your knees. LOL good luck and seriously just get a MRI.

I'm a tightwad. If I can save some money on a visit/prescriptions and just try some over-the-counter supplements, I'm going to try that first. I don't consider it experimental when I looked at what was suggested, and be damned that's what its used for.

This is my second time around being a father, and there's really not much stress after you've already had a boy. We saved all the clothes and toys from when my son was born, so there's a lot of saved expense. I'm an old **** compared to most of the community.

It could be that my cartilage is just gone, and they don't do any type of knee replacements at 31. They don't last long enough and would require a 2nd knee replacement later in life. Years of sports, and then punishing them at work for the last 10 years (I kneel on metal platforms and repair locomotives). Guess thats what I get, knee pain!
