For me, the Glock has been the best shooting firearm to just pick up and have good groups without much practice(of all the different manufacturers I've personally tried). Once I got older and could afford the nice 1911s, they're even better. My cousin bought a HK 9mm (we all know HK makes good shit), hated it, and ended up selling it. Where I live there is a range where you can rent firearms and try them out prior to purchasing a new one(but I don't think all models are available, obviously). That in itself is a pretty cool thing to have at your disposal.kanguhhh wrote:Beas the picture is small but is that a glock? I almsot went with one before I bought my springfield xdm 4.5
I've never fired any Springfield Armory firearms. They're top notch, just like Glock. You really cannot go wrong with either.
Sucks for people in areas where firearms aren't available for law abiding, mentally competent citizens.

I think Beas wears a GL 27. I easily outshoot my friends on the loose coke-can w/ my 1st gen. model 17.CharlieGiteau wrote:For me, the Glock has been the best shooting firearm to just pick up and have good groups without much practice(of all the different manufacturers I've personally tried). I like the Glock, but for me it's too bulky to wear daily. My out and about is a wee little ruger LCP .380.
And I'm lucky to hit paper at 25 yds. with it. Definitely a last resort.
